Just a warning
_{This felt so refreshing, so relaxing, and just so fun to do. The best thing for an artist is to draw simply what they want when they want, that freedom of creativity.

This wasn't planned or designed I just...drew it. I used pencil, some pen, and watercolors to create a gray shaded picture. I scanned it in and colored it on Photoshop and Sai. It took about 10 hours of work give or take.

I would proudly say this is my personal manifestation of the bubonic plague. I'll name him Malfatto. Yes I will.}

The concept of this artwork is the result of several of set interests; the dark, the morbid, manifestation of concepts, and Plague Doctors.

However this character, Plague, is part of our representation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. In our story the Four Horsemen are brothers, and Plague here is the 3rd oldest after War and Death. They are "children' of another character of ours that is the manifestation of the Apocalypse.

Oh, i was wondering where the plague doctor came from, not the fanfiction.

The Plague Doctor is a historic character coming from the time of the bubonic plague in Italy. Doctors believed that the plagued was caused by evil spirits floating thru the air. They would wear these white bird-like masks designed to scare away the spirits as they worked to help victims; they also put different kinds of herbs in the beak to prevent them from breathing in the bad air.
