Looking at both pictures, it struck me that Isaac was alone. I've only watched Dead Space 1 being beaten, but I think this is a very good piece, not just when it comes to how well-done it is, but also the emotion. He's ready, though he's more or less alone.

That is interesting, in comparison to the original inspiration. I was not aware of that as I was painting, but it is certainly true. In both DS1 and 2 Isaac is always alone.
